The Firstshoots
Candice Matlawa and Thato Makgokolo are the "Unorthodox" models, the very first under the brand to be interested in a natural path. Unorthodox models are self conscious and they love being black and Natural because they are authentic and love every part of it.
Because these were the first shoots, we involved the Brand Promoter and Sales Representative Tokoloho Leballo. She is a phenomenal young lady who although is not all natural, she respects the ladies that do take that path. Society and fitting in sometimes does not allow you to be your natural black self. It misleads you to believe that going superficial is beautiful, this is why some people find it hard to just be.
Unorthodox does not discriminate, It teaches self love and acceptance. You don't have to be all natural to love the brand. You need to open yourself to black consciousness and accept it as it is.
